Reverend Julio Peña is the Designated Pastor of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. He was the Pastor of Spirit of Love Community Ministry of 1001 PCUSA for the past two years. He has also been a part of the pastoral staff at Pullman Presbyterian Church. Reverend Julio was the Moderator of the Chicago Presbytery in 2013 and he has actively served as a church youth leader for about 20 years. He graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in 2005. He also served in the social services field for nearly 30 years.
His family includes his wife, Claudia and children Jessica 28, Israel 21, and Emilio 19. Their pets include dogs, Marley and Coco, cat, Castle, turtles, Squirt and Flash, tropical fish and one goldfish. In his free time, he enjoys camping, reading, watching DVDs, attending shows and concerts, hiking, going on bike rides, road trips, spending time with his family and, of course, he loves being a Pastor. |
