Good Shepherd is a mission-oriented church. In gratitude to God, we seek to be useful in the world, fostering love, justice and peace.
What to expect
Good Shepherd Church is a hospitable place. This is an environment where you can be just you. Dress is casual. Come as you are. There is plenty of parking. We’re fully accessible.
We’ll provide you with a bulletin which makes it easy to follow the service. In worship, it’s OK to laugh, applaud, do playful things, and still be drawn to higher levels of thought and faith. We’re trying to make a positive difference in the world. And we invite you to join us some Sunday morning. We’re one mile due west of Midway Airport. |
“Go out into the world in peace; have courage; hold on to what is good; return to no one evil for evil; strengthen the fainthearted; support the weak; help the suffering; honor everyone; love and serve the Lord, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.”
